I took my son in to Cookie Cutters on the morning of Saturday January 21. The employee we had seemed new at cutting children’s hair, being very timid and nervous with every movement. Unfortunately, his haircut is very uneven and there is a spot on the top of his head that is almost bald. I am typically very happy with the service we receive but today I am very disappointed and embarrassed of his haircut. I definitely do not think his haircut was worth $19.95. My son enjoys coming here so I hope I do not need to find a new salon for him.

The salon is truly a Godsend for those of us with special needs children. The staff are amazing.

This was my child's first real haircut, I had her bangs but when she was like 2(at this same place), she is now 4 going on 5. The station that we were at where my daughter sat still had hair pretty well covering it, several chunks in the seat, in the floor, and in the door frame of her chosen car. I had paid for the shampoo service, the lady that cut her hair did fine, but cut her hair completely dry, did not even wet ti down to cut it. When she finished, I told her that I had selected to option with the shampoo, and she said great that is where I can see if I actually did a good job,if I got it all. Every time I have had my hair cut they have always at least wet my hair down, so I was a little concerned, and glad I had said something, or it would not have happened, and then my daughter might have had messed up hair. She was nice enough, and it was a very busy day, but things should still be done correctly, and cleanly.

The shop is starting to look run down. It has not been sufficiently maintained over the years. It felt dirty even though I saw employees cleaning. We were in the shop for less than 15minutes. The service was quick and the stylist worked efficiently.

Lisa did an amazing job with our little guy on his first Cookie Cutters appt. We can't wait to come back! :)
