We have had our child’s hair cut multiple times at this location since he was a baby. The quality has decreased and the cost has increased.

We usually have a good cut here, but this time we did not. The salon is always dirty and I never see them clean between clients. Nothing in the salon has been changed or updated since they moved in probably. We’ve gotten 10-15 cuts here and only once has the person actually styled or put gel in my sons hair afterwards. They also never clean them off / brush them off of all the hairs on them. If they do they barely swipe them. Today my sons cut was bad and uneven. She also gave him razor burn and when I asked about the marks she said he has sensitive skin…but he’s never had that reaction. She then without asked me loaded a brush up with talcom powder and brushed it all over his hair, skin, and shirt. Not only did he now look like he just got into a bag of flour, but I also don’t allow that powder in my house as it is a known cancerous product. He directly inhaled it. Also Anytime he barely moved or turned his head at all she would stop and say “we’ll I can’t cut your hair then”. He is very well behaved so I’m wondering what she does with kids that come in screaming or crying.

We made an online appointment for 5:30PM on 5/4/2018. We reside approximately 45 minutes to an hour west of your location. We have visited this location with our now 4 year old son since he was 6 months of age. We've continuously purchased the prepaid cuts and taken advantage of your loyalty program. While traveling to our appointment we encountered longer than expected traffic. As a courtesy we contacted the salon and asked if we could change our appointment to 6pm to prevent them waiting for us to arrive. The call taker seemed annoyed and indicated there was nothing they could do as they were "all booked up". The call taker attempted to persuade us from coming in. We indicated that we were already in route and given our proximity and distance travelled simply not continuing wasn't going to happen. We arrived at 5:38PM. The staff essentially made us a walk-in appointment taking every other customer prior to servicing us. We checked out at 7:06PM. Allyson performed our sons haircut without issue. When we arrived the other female stylist and the receptionist were at the desk. We observed them discuss our arrival and the female stylist said something to the effect "make them wait" and walked off. Her next appointment walked in approximately 5 minutes after our arrival and indicated they had a 6pm appointment. It seemed that perhaps someone was annoyed that we decided to come in the salon. 8 minutes late with a courtesy phone call doesn't seem to be a situation that would warrant the type of attitude exhibited. The salon was obviously understaffed but it seemed that those frustrations were being directed towards us. Our sons haircut required 10 to 15 minutes of seat time. The customers who followed us were early - arrived 5 minutes after us - and after being called asked to change their sons diaper prior to beginning his haircut. This took an additional 10 minutes for the dad to go to car, the mom to change the diaper, and for them to begin cutting the hair of their two children. We could've easily been in and out of the salon in this time while the stylist stood around with a full lobby.

There is hair everywhere, including the lobby in the toy slide. The lady at the front desk is not friendly when greeting you. The hairstylist said a total of 10 words to us. Did not greet me or my child. I had to ask her to fix several things. She seemed very shy and inexperienced. The bathrooms were disgusting.
