I don't expect much when I come here, quick and easy. But this was by far the worst haircut my son has ever had, just based purely on skill level and how it turned out. We will never be back.

We arrived on time for the appointment, but were rushed as if we had arrived late. I understand appointments are short and the schedule was probably full, but if the time allotted is not enough time to get through the haircut and to be nice about it, then maybe you need to think about longer appointment times. The stylist acted annoyed with our toddler (who is not even 2) and with my husband, who was simply trying to keep our toddler calm. We will not be returning - it's not worth the money.

We usually go to cookie cutters northville for our kids cuts, but they were booked so we decided to try this Royal Oak location. I am so disappointed with the cut. My son's hair looks horrible and even when I asked the stylist to fix it, she did worse. Her excuse to my husband was that my child's hair is "fuzzy!" The hair is completely uneven and I'm going to have to take him somewhere else to have it fixed and pay more money. I'm so upset. Even when my kids are crying, moving, and fussing, Northville stylist have always done a great job. That is why we only bring our kids to cookie cutters. We will NEVER go back to Royal Oak and I will be contacting a manager to voice my concerns as well!

My son is autistic and the person who cut his hair did a terrible job and wasn’t patient with him. The front of his hair is uneven, he’s bleeding on the back of the ear, and the person cutting his hair was in a hurry because of other clients. He also has a bald spot now right above his ear

They were rude to us and then clipped my son’s neck with the clippers.

Two things I was disappointed about. 1 was that the stylist never came and asked if I was satisfied with my sons haircut. She left too much on top and I needed him to get back in the chair and put the cape back on. Another thing that happened. I was comforting a mother with a crying 2 year old and Debbie basically told me I cant talk to her. I told her that I was reassuring the mom because my son used to cry too. Debbie was super rude and I am surprised she works with kids.
