We went to Cookie Cutters for my sons first haircut. We had Elia as our stylist. She was very to the point, to the extent that she came off as unfriendly. This was our sons first haircut, and he is only 10 months old so I expected the stylist to be good with kids and patient considering she works in a kids salon. She did not interact with our son at all and when he became upset and started crying she still did not attempt to engage or help the situation. Elia instead turned to us and asked us to attend to him and hold his arms down for her. I took a few video clips of his experience for my own memorabilia, and when showing the video to family and friends one of their first comments was in regards to the stylists lack of engagement and interaction. Fortunately, his haircut turned out but due to the experience (or lack therefore) with the stylist we will not be returning. I would advise to hire stylists who can at least pretend to like children to improve a customers experience.
