My son has Autism. We have been looking for someone to cut his hair with no luck. Yesterday was our third visit to see Candace at the Chesapeake,VA. location. After not having much luck at the first two visits, she worked a miracle yesterday. He again didn't want his hair cut and wouldn't get in the chair. She was so patient and followed him around talking to him. He finally sat next to my husband in the waiting area and sat down with him and started combing his hair. All of a sudden he laughed and said that it tickled and followed her back to her station and sat for 10 minutes getting his hair trimmed. She is wonderful and is so patient with the kids. It is an 90 minute ride from our house and the shop and worth every minute of it. I am so glad we found her.
