We've been here several times for our kids and always had good experiences. However, both our daughters got hair cuts this week and I don't think we'll be coming back now. The stylist for our one daughter was so unfriendly and grouchy, and hearing her rip through my daughter's hair with brush and comb while de-tangling it was painful to her (she told me later) and disrespectful to the efforts we take to keep her hair healthy. Our other daughter's stylist was very sweet, but her bangs are now so crooked! I do her bang trims at home but wanted to get them professionally trimmed periodically, but now I'm going to have to wait for them to grow out more to fix them. This is why all my stylist friends tell me not to straight cut her bangs (which is exactly what this stylist did - I watched). Also, I've had to trim two chunks that were missed already... Sorry, but we'll go elsewhere next time.

My husband scheduled an appointment for him and our son. He arrived early, called the number, spoke to a female who told him to enter the store in 10 minutes. When he did, a smaller white female with long hair asked who he was and said because he is late, they would only be able to complete one appointment. My husband informed her he called before his appointment time and she argued with him, telling him he never called because his name was not checked off as calling to check in. First, arguing with a customer is completely I appropriate. My husband informed her he called and the unfriendly employee asked the other employee if he called and this nice employee said he did and she forgot to mark him as checking in. The unpleasant employee walked away, did not apologize at all. 2 days later I brought my daughter in for her hair appointment and there was a smaller white female with long hair present who had a very unpleasant attitude with customers and the other employees. I did not receive her name but I imagine the employees and she know who exactly who I am speaking about. Her attitude made our experience uncomfortable and made my husband and sons experience extremely uncomfortable. I hope management has a word with her about proper customer service. The other employees were very pleasant and the haircuts were very good.

I love coming here for the environment and how patient the stylists are. However, this haircut was particularly bad and my son was sitting very still so it's not because he was moving. The front is quite blunt with minimal thinning, the back is uneven and asymmetrical, and the hair is trimmed higher above one ear than the other. I attempted to give some feedback during the haircut but was worried with how much more hair was coming off that he would be left with a worse haircut if I didn't stop talking. I plan to fix this on my own or take him elsewhere. No other stylist has had trouble with his hair quite like this time.

I made an appointment for 10AM, I was late for 10 minutes and was told by the lady in the front desk that the next appointment for that same day will be at 345pm. I did not take it and left, I made an appointment myself again at 1145am, I was with my son in the Childrens Hospital and came back 5 minutes later this time, I think they were having lunch and did not want to take my son. I was able to book a 345pm in the system and when got again at the salon at 330pm to check in I was told that appointment they could not see it in the system, thank GOD for Tasha who was very kind to solve the situation and they had me waiting until the next appointment did not show up and they cut my son’s hair. I was driving from Pueblo to Colorado Springs with 2 goals for the day, the medical appointment and the hair appointment. I believe that solution could have been provided the very first time. I do not think it was necessary for us to do three appointments. I came back over and over because I needed that done. Otherwise I would have left and never came back. The lady in the front office have no idea about problem solving. This needs to be addressed.

Thank you for reaching out to us about your appointment this Saturday. This past Saturday like most of our Saturdays, our schedule was completely full when we started the day. When you showed up late by 13 minutes for a 15-minute haircut appointment, our staff could not fit you in as it would have pushed all the other appointments back causing further issues. As such we had an opening at 3:45pm which was the first available at that time. We offered it to you which you declined. Shortly later you made an appointment at 3:45pm using our online system, then it was cancelled. As you stated you went online again and found a 11:45am appointment. That only came available as a client cancelled their appointment that day and moved to Monday approximately 30 minutes before you booked the 11:45 am service. Again, you were late for that appointment by 7 minutes. Our stylist determined she would not have the necessary time to complete the service to the level expected and stay on time with her next client so we informed you that we could not provide service to you. This policy is outlined when a client books an appointment with us as well when we send a confirmation 90 minutes before the scheduled appointment. You then came in at 3:30pm for an appointment you made earlier in the day at 3:45pm, but as I stated above it was cancelled and that is why we did not have it in our schedule. Another client booked an appointment for 3:45pm as it was open at the time of booking. Our staff worked to fit you in even though it pushed the next few clients’ appointment times. As a busy salon, especially on weekends we do our best to accommodate our clients if they are late, but we cannot always as we must balance that with our other clients that expect us to honor their appointment times.
