At Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids children get to enjoy more than the typical salon booster seat. They get to choose their favorite fantasy car to sit in during their haircut and each station has a wide selection of kids’ shows and games. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.


We strive to provide a caring environment where we put both the child and the parent at ease. Our stylists are skilled in cutting hair for all children, and provide that extra special touch for those with special needs. Not all children like to get their haircut, we are aware of this struggle and do all we can to make the experience one that they will want to have again.

My kids and I have always loved Cookie Cutters, so I surprised my birthday guy with a cut. It had been awhile since we've been. He broke out in terrified, tears. The stylist was so sweet and patient. She was able to help him relax and even let him feel the clippers to show him it only tickles and doesn't hurt. By the end, he was chatty and excited about his "spikey" hair. He even asked if she could comb his crocodile. To top it off she habe him 2 suckers and balloons for him and his little furry friend. It was great!

I love how easy it is to get my son’s hair cut here!! My only complaint is there is always hair everywhere. Even the kids slide has hair all over it and we always leave a mess with others hair on us. It should be cleaned after each child like every other salon does.

I feel like Cookie Cutters in Orem does a pretty great job. My kids love choosing a show to watch and a car to sit in. The haircuts have almost always been done well- just a few mishaps with too short or the hair stylist not understanding the look we were going for. Sometimes I do feel like they could benefit from more professional training but I appreciate that they listen to my direction and check in here and there about lengths.

My son was complaining that the lady cutting his hair was hurting him. He's never complained about this before. I would've preferred the hairstylist slow down a little to help him calm down. (There was no one else there waiting.) Seems like it'd been a really busy day for them, and the hairstylist may have been a bit frazzled.
