My son is 2.5 years old and I have been taking him to cookie cutters since he first started needing haircuts. He has never had a bad haircut from them. The environment is set up solely for a kid and even though he still got scared he had enough distractions with the cars and the tv that his hair wasn't compromised. The hair stylists are very quick and efficient and great with kids. And the bonus is they get a ballon and sucker after their cut. Now at 2.5 my son is excited for his haircut- no resistance at all. They offer discounts, but it's totally worth the price without it.

My son has sensory issues and it is impossible for me to give him a haircut. He screams, cries, thrashes, shakes out of terror, and is completely out of control. He’ll still cry for at least 40 minutes after I’m done. He doesn’t care when he sees Dad getting a haircut without flipping out and nothing distracts him well enough. I decided to try Cookie Cutters and it’s worth every penny. It’s still a little loud for him as far as the atmosphere goes. But he likes the fun car and the movie for each booth (they just need Netflix for the good stuff). He still cries and has a little freak out but nowhere near as bad. Plus he can’t resent me and I’m able to focus on helping him cope because I can stand right next to him the whole time. After it’s all done he gets a sucker and balloon and it’s like nothing happened. Thank you Cookie Cutters for making our lives less stressful. ❤️

It seemed that they were REALLY slow today. It was sort of frustrating since I had made an appointment with the intention of being able to get in and get out. It ended up taking an hour, which in turn made us late for school.

We've been to Cookie Cutters several times, and have always been pleased with the service. The stylists are so good with kids. They're incredibly patient - and fast! - and make my child feel comfortable. He enjoys his haircuts. On this particular occasion, there was a child with special needs who they were cutting hair for, and they were doing a great job trying to move through efficiently without making a big deal for the mom. The only thing that bothers me about the service is how sometimes a haircut is interrupted to manage something at the front desk. My son is 2, and so every second of patience that we get from him during a visit is really critical. So when the stylist has to step away to check someone in, or do something else, it can start to wear away on the time we have where his patience is high. I would love to see an iPad or something where people could automatically check themselves in, or an improvement in the mobile app. I think many parents face that same issue, and if we can check ourselves in on arrival at GreatClips, I think it would be a natural step for Cookie Cutters. Overall, however, I love the service and we definitely will continue to use it. Great people and overall good experience.

Julia was SO kind and considerate with my three-year-old who has recently developed a fear of haircuts. She was so patient with him and listened to and accommodated all of his worries. We will definitely be back!

The store needs some TLC. The sink was broken, and some of the other equipment was broken too. Our stylist was excellent.
