Me and my sister wanted to get our babies there first haircut we chose this place because we got a certificate and a lock of hair when they were don’t with my sons hair they checked me out and said nothing about it and was about to start on my nephews hair i then asked the lady about it because that’s the whole reason we went to you guys she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about and asked the other lady that lady proceeded to tell her how to do it she did pick up a lock of his hair and hand it to me and said when she was done with my nephews she would print them out and give me a baggie for the hair. After we sat there for about 5 min while she sat at the computer and she kept looking at us but wasn’t saying anything we just thought she was getting the certificates ready then a costumer walked in and she instantly took them back and started cutting there hair, we just left without it and went home and made our own certificate, it was just a little frustrating because we would have gone somewhere else if we new we weren’t getting what was included in the package! It’s even more Annoying we said something and they still didn’t give us anything

The girl how cut his hair did not listen to what I wanted at all. I wanted a trim on his shaggy hair but she cut it so so short. I went home and cried for 30 minutes because she ruined the hair he had been growing for a year plus.

I took both of my boys Aidan and Gael for their haircuts on 4/19/24 at 4:30pm to the Orem location. The woman that cut Aidan’s hair was rude and unprofessional. I felt ignored when she asked me what I wanted for Aidan’s hair and then walked away as I was trying to explain. When I tried explaining how I wanted his hairline she looked at me as if I was dumb. Not once did she engage in conversation with me when she asked me questions about his hair. At one point she sprayed so much water on my son’s hair it was dripping all down his face, I literally had to clean his face with my sleeve! While she left to go grab some scissors. She was cutting my son’s hair so aggressively that the environment just felt so hostile. My son even mentioned after his haircut that she was yanking on his hair so much that it hurt him. At the end of the haircut she yanked the cape off my son’s neck, and my son immediately got off the chair. I said thank you and got nothing but a “mhm” and she walked away. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at cookie cutters. It makes me so sad because I have been going to the Orem location for over 8 years and I have never had a rude stylist. I didn’t catch the girls name that cut Aidan’s hair but I hope she learns how to deal with parents and kids as it is her job.

I’m a pretty loyal customer to this place but today was the worst it has been. The environment was more chaotic and unorganized than usual ( no ability to check in on time bc no one was at the desk, only options were cash or Venmo). I know it’s normal to run a little late but no announcement was shade to indicate how far behind they were ( 5-10 min is fine but 20-30 is a little extreme). I showed the stylist( her name was Liz) a picture of what I wanted for my son( 2 inches on the side and hair long enough on top to be able to brush to the side). I told her that she can leave it long so that I can see it and then trim it shorter if needed. As I watched her start to trim the top I noticed she was doing it very short. I stopped her and said that is shorter than I was wanting and her response was “ oh..whoops”. There was no other choice but to keep it that short and continue on. I even said at the end of the haircut that the overall cut is not what I wanted and that it’s shorter than I wanted as well. I was very close to not paying for that service and talking to a manager until I was informed that there was no manager on-site to speak to. I was not able to come back another time during the day to talk about this issue and possibly get it resolved bc we were traveling. I’m very disappointed in the service and contemplating not coming back.

I told the women cutting my daughter's hair exactly what I wanted and she did the complete opposite. She chopped a layer that looked absolutely terrible. When I told her I did not like the layers and asked her to blend it, they did not follow on my request stating they would have to go shorter with the layer which is not okay. I felt like I wasn't heard. I felt like after I told her how unhappy I was they didn't try to even fix the problem but instead dismiss me. The girl didn't really even take responsibility for messing up my daughter's hair, not sure if she actually thought it looked good. I left the salon crying at how horrible my daughter's hair looked and had to go to another salon to get it fixed. Never going back to this company agaib because that was the worst experience I've ever had with hair.

They were running behind which I get. Things happen. My son is relatively “easy” and will sit still an listen well. His haircut was extremely rushed. So many missed spots. We usually like our experience here. If this had been my first time I definitely wouldn’t go back. I did notice one girl getting her hair cut and the stylist had to brush out knots and was doing it for a minimum of 20 minutes. I think the stylists need to be instructed on what to do for that situation to not make clients get behind and have to rush. Simply tell the parents that you can’t do their hair in that condition.
