They get to choose their favorite fantasy car to sit in during their haircut and each station has a wide selection of kids’ shows and games. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.
We strive to provide a caring environment where we put both the child and the parent at ease. Our stylists are skilled in cutting hair for all children, and provide that extra special touch for those with special needs. Not all children like to get their haircut, we are aware of this struggle and do all we can to make the experience one that they will want to have again.

My son has sensory issues and it is impossible for me to give him a haircut. He screams, cries, thrashes, shakes out of terror, and is completely out of control. He’ll still cry for at least 40 minutes after I’m done. He doesn’t care when he sees Dad getting a haircut without flipping out and nothing distracts him well enough. I decided to try Cookie Cutters and it’s worth every penny. It’s still a little loud for him as far as the atmosphere goes. But he likes the fun car and the movie for each booth (they just need Netflix for the good stuff). He still cries and has a little freak out but nowhere near as bad. Plus he can’t resent me and I’m able to focus on helping him cope because I can stand right next to him the whole time. After it’s all done he gets a sucker and balloon and it’s like nothing happened. Thank you Cookie Cutters for making our lives less stressful. ❤️
