Be sure to get someone who has previously and successfully done the hair cut you are wanting. If you book online and want a shampoo make sure to say so when you arrive, they may need time to clean brushes and cushions off the shampoo station, or if you choose to forego making them do that, be sure they don't charge you for the shampoo you never received. Even with a tv show to watch kids have a limit of sitting there and an hour reaches that limit so I wasn't about to point out the issues I saw in her cut, though I do give the owner credit for getting it better evened out between his own customers.

It was crowded and we waited 20 min past our scheduled time. Would’ve been nice if they mentioned at check in that they were running late. But they were fast and efficient

My daughter was really disappointed that she didn’t get her hair washed during her appointment. When we scheduled online it said the appointment would include a hair wash and styling and her hair was cut and that was it. I felt like we shouldn’t have been charged the full price for not getting everything we signed up for.

We had an appointment and were called back, my child was seated and ready to go and then we were told never mind-- it was someone else's turn. We had to wait longer for both my children, when we were on time and checked in. When I thought my second child was up to have their hair cut-- we were circumvented by someone else who had the same appointment time and had requested a specific stylist. There were multiple people who asked us if we had checked in-- and I kept saying "yes" -- the communication between stylists was poor and I was really disappointed by this experience. We have been to Cookie Cutters multiple times-- this was just an overall poor experience.

My son's hair is a mess. Upon ringing is up, I had to stop the stylist and ask her to finish my son's hair as one side was completely left untouched. She graciously went back and fixed. But then getting home she buzzed a huge amount of hair around his ear. It's terrible looking and unfixable. My son was actually really still during the cut so finding this when we got home is very upsetting. The stylist herself was kind and personable, but the quality of cut for the experience doesn't match. Emma was not skilled in her cut. The cut is completely off and my son's hair around his ear is so high it'll take awhile to grow back out. Very disappointed with our experience.
