If you (or the person who can is not around)cannot cut and style African American hair PROPERLY, PLEASE be honest and decline. I use money and time for my kids to have a great experience just like any other race/ loose textured child that visits your establishment. I was frustrated when I saw both my sons hair when they returned home. We asked for a simple taper and no shape up which should have made it easier but my husband had to fix the hair cut when he came home meaning more time (and having to grow the hair out again). I honestly could not tell my son that his hair cut was bad because I did not want to hurt his self esteem. As a parent I should never have to do that after paying money for a service. There was a literal low patch at the top of his head, no taper, and areas of his hair where it was not cut. I will never bring my kids here ever again. NEVER EVER!! You should be ashamed. Just call it what it is and do not accept African American Clients. Simple.

The stylist was very rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. The employee who worked at the front counter was very friendly and pleasant. I would not recommend to friends, as the stylist did not even speak to my daughter.

The stylist wasn't friendly ("Well, if you were five minutes you wouldn't have been seen. Uh-uh. We only allow five minutes." though there wasn't another customer in the place. She was also a bit snippy at times. I also expressly asked her to leave his curls, and she cut them off anyway completely disregarding my request. Overall, I am pretty unhappy with the experience.

Haircut did not begin until 30 minutes after appointment time.. for a cut that takes 10 minutes, this is extremely frustrating.

I booked my child an appointment for a cut with a specific stylist and ended up seeing someone different the day of. I asked for my child’s hair to be cut chin length and it ended up being cut to neck length. The very back of her hair is shorter than the top and will begin to look funny once it grows out. There was zero product applied to my child’s thick, curly hair. It was a frizzy mess by the time it dried, causing my child to feel self conscious for the remainder of our outing. The stylist was not super friendly and seemed like she was bothered to have to cut my child’s hair. I’m overall pretty disappointed with the experience and would not visit this salon again. I do have to say, the young lady working the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

I am very disappointed in the haircut we received today!! The stylist appear very unsure of her work. Didnt communicate well with the customer and did not provide the service we asked for. I definitely dont feel prpud of the haircut my son received today. Not sure that we will return to cookie cutters.
