Worse cut we have ever had at CC. Tried a different barber while ours was not available. Will return but will definitely wait til our barber return. Would have appreciated if barber would have been honest and said “I do not have much experience in providing the service that you are asking for!!!!

Stylist didn’t adhere to directions and the previous haircut picture shown. Once shown the picture of pervious haircut and asked to cut just a tad bit more while pointing to where the hair would stop at his ears, she was rude and said “it’ll be a whole other haircut.” and took off more than 1 inch of hair in addition to the previous length cut and went further than what was pointed out. This resulted in too much taken off and my son losing his natural waves and curls. For future customers: It would be helpful if the stylist would stop rushing and would grab the hair and reference where the cut will happen and not just do what she pleases without confirming the length. Sorry, but we won’t be back. This ruined my child’s hair forever.

We just left Cookie Cutters -Perry Hall after visiting for my son’s first haircut. He’s 13 months old and was actually pretty chill for a baby in the chair as he got to watch the cute video playing (he doesn’t usually get to watch tv, so he was riveted!). The inside of the store is so cute and the people were friendly but unfortunately she did a pretty bad job on his hair. It is very choppy pretty much all over. I’m of course quite disappointed, especially since it was his first haircut! 😢 I’m also surprised as I’ve seen lots of positive recommendations from other moms on Facebook (which is why I chose this shop), so I just wanted to put my experience out there as well.

Our hairdresser was the only one in the salon without a mask. Everyone else was wearing one.

It seems once in awhile we have stylists/barbers who do not seem to be good with children. Particularly talking to them while they are getting their hair cut. It's important to reassure and talk to children. I only patronize Cookie Cutters because you are suppose to be better with children in this setting than adult salons. I left White Marsh location because they never seem to have any hot water for shampooing, but since the pandemic we are no longer interested in shampooing and just want a good cut. Sometimes we are placed with new stylists that are not very good with children and then others that are. Not so with this last experience. Good cut but not so good with helping Chris feel comfortable and talking him through the process. Surprised that the price had increased and not sure how we are put with someone who asked if we are new customers since we have patronized the business for the last 2 years. After this experience we will not be returning.

Not sure why we didn’t have a race car or plane this time. Our son did not have a good experience and our expectations were not met. Last time we came it was much better.
