I was very disappointed with our trip to Cookie Cutters. We go here because it is a place for kids and it should be a kid friendly environment.The gal that cut my daughters hair barely said two words to me or my daughter. I don't even know her name, she did not introduce herself. I tried to speak to her and she would not say anything. She was not friendly and seemed to be in a rush. When the haircut was done she did not take the time to remove the apron from my daughter and moved behind the cash register to check her text messages on her cell phone while another gal checked us out. The bottom line is I go here for the experience. It costs a little bit more money that I would like to pay and the haircuts are not great... needless to say I won't be returning .

I've been taking my boys here for awhile. The stylists have always done a great job with my wiggly kids. The only negative feedback is that the back room/restroom area could be cleaner.

We LOVE Hailey. She ALWAYS gives good haircuts and she interacts well with children. Parents enjoy chatting with her too.

Went to the West Valley Cookie Cutters on 5600 West, to have my 5 yr old son's hair cut, I think in Nov 2016. It was my third visit to this location. The first time the hair cut was great. the second visit the lady who cut his hair was very rough with the clippers and in a big hurry. the cut was not as Good. This Third visit the same lady who cut it the second time was there and the Girl in charge. the place was empty as the last child who had a hair cut was leaving. I asked if the Girl in charge would cut my sons hair, explaining the other lady was rough with the last hair cut. she acted like she didn't want to cut it and said she had an interview and it would be an hour. I decided to not go to this location again, and went to the one on FT Union the same Day. They cut his hair good and apologized for what happened at the other location. I will no longer go the the West Valley location, nor refer other there. I feel that the Quality in not good nor the Customer Service.

Halley gives a wonderful haircut. She is a lovely young woman. She has been cutting Damien's hair for four years. She never gives him a bad haircut.

I have always taken my son to Cookie Cutters because of the patience and kindness shown toward him. Dominic has autism, and I was sure to put that in his file so the stylists were extra sensitive. Every time we have come, I have been so impressed with the whole process. Today was very different. The girl who cut his hair told me she read his file and knew the clipper size. I assumed she read of his autism. Nope. She was really impatient and gruff with him, forcing his head this way and that. Sighing impatiently. Saying, "DUDE, come on! You're a big boy. Stop moving!" Etc. etc. At one point he had hair all over his eye lashes and he went to brush it off, and she rudely said, "Do NOT brush that off with the apron!" She was awful! I was shaking and finally said, "you need to be patient, he has autism and sensory issues." I don't like to say this in front of him be cause we haven't had the conversation yet. she said, "I apologize- I can usually tell!" What??? Um, no you can't! Bad response! After I told her, she tried to be sweet to him and gave us an extra punch. Let me tell you something- no child (autism or not) should be treated that way! I am a preschool teacher, and I was appalled! What the hell is she doing in this profession?!?! I will not be returning to this stylist!
