I'm not sure if they have a cosmetology license. This is the second time I have brought my daughter here and left with uneven hair. It's a straight across cut. You need to still take it in sections and onohet things to make it even with body. I will not be back.

I have always taken my son to Cookie Cutters because of the patience and kindness shown toward him. Dominic has autism, and I was sure to put that in his file so the stylists were extra sensitive. Every time we have come, I have been so impressed with the whole process. Today was very different. The girl who cut his hair told me she read his file and knew the clipper size. I assumed she read of his autism. Nope. She was really impatient and gruff with him, forcing his head this way and that. Sighing impatiently. Saying, "DUDE, come on! You're a big boy. Stop moving!" Etc. etc. At one point he had hair all over his eye lashes and he went to brush it off, and she rudely said, "Do NOT brush that off with the apron!" She was awful! I was shaking and finally said, "you need to be patient, he has autism and sensory issues." I don't like to say this in front of him be cause we haven't had the conversation yet. she said, "I apologize- I can usually tell!" What??? Um, no you can't! Bad response! After I told her, she tried to be sweet to him and gave us an extra punch. Let me tell you something- no child (autism or not) should be treated that way! I am a preschool teacher, and I was appalled! What the hell is she doing in this profession?!?! I will not be returning to this stylist!

Usually a good experience, but this time my mom took my girls in, gave specific instructions and even showed a picture in the beginning and then again as she got ready to start cutting. My 12yr old daughter wanted what I can only best describe as a backwards layered A-Line, so it's shorter in the front and longer in the back. Instead, the lady cut her hair short in the back and long in the front. My daughter is moderately autistic and didn't know how to handle this while there, watching her hair be the complete opposite of what we asked for. My mom was working with the lady doing my younger daughter's hair, then checked on my one that got messed up, but by then it was way too late. My mom tried to ask my daughter if she was okay with what the lady was doing but she couldn't even speak - later she told me that she was afraid she was just going to cry in front of everyone if she said anything - and it sounds like it was too late by then to get the cut that was asked for, as the back was already chopped off. Well, after they left my daughter spent days crying and stressing over her hair until we could get her hair fixed somewhere else. There was no way I was going to be able to get her back to Cookie Cutters, and none of my girls will be going back there again. I don't know what this lady was thinking. While I won't say this to my daughter, her hair looked ridiculous - what she ended up doing wasn't even done as just a normal A-line, the front is about 6" longer than the back. Just very disappointed, especially after how much they described what my daughter wanted and even showed pictures, and we even made sure she didn't pick out a difficult cut - it was really just supposed to be like a backwards A-line, with the front being shorter than the back.

The girl who cut my daughters hair seemed inexperienced. She cut my daughters hair inches shorter than I requested. I won’t be returning.

When I got home with my daughter I realized she had a small cut on her neck from the haircut. They need to be more careful when cutting kids hair. Wouldn’t return to this location.
