i came to this salon as a recommendation from a friend (she never been). worst mistake. the hair color was so awful, completely not what we talked about. i feel like they were just trying to make money off of me. she recommended a color correction (150/hr!!!!) and i said no because my hair is thin but i have a lot of it. it would be completely damaging. as the color was setting in she was concerned the color wasn’t taking and suggested to BLEACH my hair. again, i refused. the color sat in my hair for at least an hour so of course when i get to see myself my hair is bright orange at the roots and a more reasonable red at the bottom. haircut was amazing, probably the only saving grace here. the manager said he could fix it but i was like.... look theyre trying to put a whole bunch of chemicals in my hair that’s damaging why would i trust that you’d make it right? after walking out of the salon in tears i called to speak to the manager to try to just get a refund. not a difficult task to do. the manager was rude and seemed like he was laughing at me. he finally agreed after arguing that i go up there. i asked for a card reversal but nope. he said he doesn’t do that. after sleeping on the situation i decided to just let my $188 (i was told services was 150? i only noticed when i looked at my bank) just go to waste and pay another professional to fix it for me. at the end of the day, they’re people and i get it but where was the customer service?

Even thou I showed the stylist pic, she didn't perform the job right. The color looks too dark than what I showed in the picture

I received a partial highlight and cut service (should have been just a trim). I was not only incredibly over charged ($165 for a cut???), but I was also there for FOUR HOURS. That is unacceptable. Additionally, I am so disappointed in how my hair looks. The color is so light it looks nearly white. I look like I aged 10+ years and every time I look in the mirror I am so upset. I'm even more upset that I paid nearly $400 for my hair to look terrible. Especially when I used to get my hair done in Southern California for HALF the price and it looked and felt amazing. I was hoping this would be my new hair salon, but after this visit in which I was there for 4 hours, paid almost double what I usually pay, AND my hair looks so terrible, I will never come back.

I felt like I was constantly being upsold and had to ask “how much is that?” constantly. Maybe they are going for an “a La carte steakhouse” approach but it comes off as a “shady nail salon”. Will not return.

I was pleased with the results of my appointment, however the customer service experience was quite disappointing. I was ridiculed quite heavily for not having great “ends” and not have a perfectly conditioned head of hair. I understand that as a hairstylist it is your job to be honest with the client, but I have never felt so personally attacked as I did at my appointment. I have been getting my hair done since I was 13 and whenever my hair needs a cut or maybe a deep conditioning, the stylist has always been honest but respectful. This was an uncomfortable and disappointing hair appointment.

I previously had my hair cut done here with Odessa and had a wonderful experience I decided to come back for a consultation for hair color which I regret. I felt like I was an inconvenience to Sherry seemed like she didn't really want to help me I was confused on what I wanted I had some pictures but seemed like she didn't really want to give her full input it was very basic and very much down to the point like well that's up to you.I completely get it at the end of the day it's my decision but there are some things that hair stylist know terminology wise and some things clients do not know it would have been nice if she was a little bit more friendly helpful kind and was willing to show me some pictures to help me out.
