The late policy for appointments seems overly aggressive for a kid’s haircut place. I was ten minutes late for my appointment (snowing, 30 minute drive, trouble parking, and dealing with a three year old and an infant). I was told since I was 10 minutes late I had to sit and wait with my infant and 3 y/o for the next customer to get to the salon and get their haircut done until we could be seen. As a parent with young kids being timely can be a challenge and I didn’t think I was overly late to where I needed to be treated that harshly. We waited for the next kid to get to the salon, have their 5 minute haircut, and then my son got his 5 minute haircut. The haircut was fine. The whole situation felt completely unnecessary as 5 minute haircuts don’t set the schedule THAT far behind. It would have been a little nicer experience if the receptionist could have been a little more understanding of the circumstances (snow, parking trouble, and infant) and just seen my child when we came in. Felt overly aggressive to be so incredibly strict around the “company policies”. The “owner” was blamed for these strict policies. Whoever the “owner” is, maybe just a little more compassion for parents with young kids, we aren’t trying to be late, sometimes things happen though. I was so thrown off by this unnecessary reaction to being 10 minutes late. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Helen cut my son‘s hair and his hairline in the back is so bad and the haircut is so incredibly bad. It is the worst haircut my son has ever had and I want my money back quite frankly. I’ve never asked for that before in my life and I gave the woman a nice tip to even though his hair looks absolutely terrible, and he clearly has no idea how to cut or shape a little boy hair/hairline.
