I took two of my boys on Saturday. Our normal stylist was booked already so we chose another one. I had to fix both boys hair that evening. One of them was nearly fine, it just wasn’t as short as I wanted. I kept asking for a 1 on the sides or shorter and she kept going up in sizes, ending in a 1 1/2 and at the end I asked if she could please do the one and she just blended the bottom so I just trimmed his up at home. It was the toddlers that got messed up so bad. I must have ended up saying Mohawk 6 times during the conversation because after the first two times she still had it in a mullet, blending the sides and not cutting the back at all. I kept saying no, more like a Mohawk, like buzzed on the sides through the back, no blending, hard lines, and she still kept trying to blend the sides. I ended up just leaving because I felt like she was frustrated and I was frustrated. It wasn’t even straight through the middle, it was so crooked. We were so tired that night but I couldn’t even look at him it was so bad. My husband wondered maybe she doesn’t know what a Mohawk was and had only done mullets and that’s possible. It’s just frustrating to spend $50 on haircuts and still have to fix them. We normally see Michelle and she does a wonderful job.
