Everything was fantastic but I felt I was overcharged for my service. I only had my hair curled and it was $45 which seemed really expensive to me.

I am overall happy with the color treatment I get at this salon, and was happy this time to see the bill was much less than normal, in part because a trainee finished my hair by washing it and styling it for me. That was actually a very welcome surprise (she did a nice job, and the lower cost was very, very welcome). Downside - I rarely leave a salon with the styled look I want. I don't know why, I always mention that I prefer a fluffier, more full hairstyle, but I always wind up with a flat, straighter style (which, while more current, I feel it makes me look old and tired and isn't very flattering for me). I don't know how to remedy that.

Antonio is awesome as always. My big issue was that I had also made an appointment for my daughter for the same appointment time. She is a new customer. Her appointment was booked with Madeline. At the time I made the appointment for her I explained that she had long curly hair and that she was going for a short cut. When we got there I went off with Antonio and he started with my highlight. After I had been there for over an hour, I got a text from my husband telling me that the stylist refused to cut my daughter's hair, saying that "She doesn't do pixie cuts." If we had known that the stylist couldn't do short cuts (even though I stated that was her goal when making the appointment) when she initially refused, Antonio could have done her cut while I was processing, as his appointment for that time had cancelled. As it is, she rescheduled with another stylist for Friday evening, and spent the next couple of hours wasting her time in the waiting room. I'm not sure we'll be keeping her appointment. I appreciate that someone who didn't know how to do the cut didn't attempt it anyway, but I'm a bit mystified as to why this person is cutting hair at all. She's clearly not ready, or her clients are not being properly screened to accommodate her limited skills. Turning away clients is not a good thing. I've been a customer for probably 4 or 5 years, maybe more. I'm really unhappy with the way things went for my daughter last night.

SInce the change in ownership, have noted two issues - the new product line is less than optimal, leaving hair way too limp and without body - and it is so difficult to get appointments with preferred stylists. Can book way in advance, I guess. To the last stylist, I identified where I wanted my part and you placed it in a completely other realm! I don’t need to hear I have no volume - I need you to address it! Place does not seem quite as clean and new owner needs to learn to say hello to visiting clients.

I called by cell phone a week before desirable day to make a haircut appointment with my regular stylist. I was given a few times slots available on the day I wanted and I chose the time convenient. I went to the salon at the time given me by phone and to my surprise, I was not on the schedule and my stylist was busy at that time slot. Thankfully, the staff was able to accommodate me at same day at another time slot and I my haircut was great. What happened to my original appointment appointment? I don’t know; I just feel that I can’t trust them with an appointment next time.
