My experience varies with every visit. My son's last hair cut was great but there was only one person working that day and she kept having to stop the haircut to answer the phone and schedule appointments. Fortunately my son is pretty patient and cooperative for a 3 year old but the hair cut took a long time. Previous hair cuts have not been as good of quality but we continue to return because of the nice environment.

I like coming here but you definitely need an appt. some of the staff isn’t friendly either especially if you don’t have an appt. There is usually only 1 person working. They say they welcome walk ins but they don’t. Someone is usually “busy” in the back room. Not sure why hey have 6 seats and one person working. It’s happened to me on more than one occasion (although I only show up with an appt now).

The process of making an appointment was totally unsatisfactory. I wanted to make an appointment for 3 children. I tried calling, but the message directed me to app to make an appointment. The available times were listed for the day. I chose one and thought I had made an appointment since I rec'd a confirmation. I was not successful in making the other 2 appointments as the app kept telling me there was an error. I repeatedly tried unsuccessfully to book multiple appointments. I also made repeated calls only to get the message to make my appt on the app! I showed up for my scheduled appt for the one child, bringing the others in hope I could get them in. I was told I did not have an appointment. Apparently the appt was made for the following day which was NOT the date that I selected. If it changed dates due to appts being full, it did not highlight that in any way before submitting the appointment. The odd thing was that there was absolutely no one in the shop when I arrived for what I thought was our appt. I also complained that no one answered the phone and was told that they were so busy as they were booked all day and could not take any appts. As I said, absolutely no one was in the shop and during the time I was there to schedule appts, no one else showed up. I don't understand how that is being so busy and totally booked when NO ONE was there for the appt time I wanted.

My daughter had a lot of anxiety about coming to get her hair cut here. She had only ever had her bangs trimmed and nothing else. Luckily, the environment and staff made her feel very comfortable. She loved the playset and was absolutely thrilled about the little door to the bathroom and the little potty seat. Getting to sit in a fun car and watch an episode of her favorite show was the cherry on top...and then the lollipop at the end kind of blew her mind! To add to that, the woman who cut her hair was lovely and made her feel beautiful and special...and she did a great job!! I thought I had hit the jackpot. So, when school picture day was rolling around, I made an appointment with the same person to make sure she was looking sharp for her first ever school picture. Same great experience all around, but this time her bangs were seriously jacked up. I'm not sure what the issue was because my daughter held perfectly still and watched her show. I feel awful because this woman is awesome but when I saw her bangs I wanted to cry. It looks like a home haircut gone very wrong. I told myself maybe it wouldn't be noticeable in the photo but it does -- it just looks butchered. I wanted to call and get my money back but I was worried that the stylist would have the money deducted from her paycheck and don't want to do that to someone. Now I'm torn on if we're going back because of the great atmosphere and experience --- and 50% of the time the hair looked good...

I love cookie cutters! But the last two times we’ve been in I made it clear we wanted a lot of length off (in inches). Both times I walked away with less hair cut than I hoped. It’s done so quickly it always feels too late to make them go back and do it again. My dubious side wonders if it’s a directive from above to make us have to come back more frequently. But I will say my daughter loves coming and we always get quick and friendly service.

We have been going to cookie cutters for a few years and always have had pleasant experiences and nice haircuts. Our most recent experience was pleasant but I was not pleased with the haircuts, especially my son's. I booked through the app and chose "anyone" as the stylist since we've been to most and I wanted to be able to get my kids appointments at the same time. We had stylists that we've had in the past and received nice haircuts from. This time, half of my son's hair wasn't cut. While I was with my daughter he finished, was getting out of the chair and cleanup had started. Normally I'm asked if his hair looks ok but this time wasn't. I had told the stylist what I wanted before I went with my daughter(which is the same as every other visit and in the notes) & she repeated part of what I had said. I thought she only repeated that part because she wanted to make sure the length was correct but I guess that's all she heard (my mistake for not repeating everything). I didn't realize the top of his head hadn't been touched at all and the sides had just been blended in until we got in the car and he turned his head. Had I noticed before I would've asked to have it fixed before we left...again, my mistake. Next time I'll just book the kids at seperate times so I can be watch each one.
