Only reason you pay more and choose a kids hair cut place is you expect the hair stylist to be gentle, caring and friendly !!

Stylist did not listen and cut my sons hair way too short! Extremely upset. This is the second bad experience.

Saturday, November 19, I have an appointment for 10:40 a.m. I arrived with my son at 10:35 a.m. and it is 11:15 a.m. and I see how other children attend and I keep waiting for them to attend us. The problem is that once I was 5 minutes late and they canceled my appointment and now whose fault is it I am very upset

I scheduled a First Cut package and am so disappointed at the entire experience. No effort was made to calm my upset child during his first haircut and I felt as though we were an inconvenience to the stylist. I have been bringing my other son to Cookie Cutters since they opened this location and his first few times were rough for him, but the staff had always gone above and beyond to distract him and make him calm and happy. Zero effort was made this time. When I told the receptionist this while I was paying there was nothing offered to rectify the situation (no offer of a balloon, sucker, not even an apology) but rather I was told those things have been reduced as a result of COVID. I understand that could change some things, but I saw the bubble machine that could have been used, I saw the balloons that were blown up. I saw someone else standing there who could have tried to help distract my son or make him smile. None of that was done. And if those things aren’t going to be offered then I should not be charged the same amount for the experience that we did not receive. I have always driven 20-40 minutes for this ‘experience’ for my child and it’s no longer worth it so we won’t be back.
