We needed to find a new salon for our children after we left the prior location we'd been using for nearly three years due to a lot of changes and staff turn over. Cookie cutters was very clean ,appeared to have newer equipment and updated features compared to the salon we'd previously used. I appreciated that the environment was calm, organized and the children seemed relaxed. We were treated well during our visit, our children were used to a different set up and I felt the staff was considerate and accommodating the most possible they could be. I'd read a tremendous amount of online reviews in reference to this salon, many spoke highly of a certain stylist (Ely) so we chose her and I'm happy with my children's cuts as well as her interactions with them. She was precise and patient. I rate professional advice a little on the lower scale, while there I overhead the front desk ask the gal cutting my child's hair if another family could return tomorrow after completing treatment today. I can only assume this means lice, left me feeling quite uneasy as Im assuming that family was sent away int he recent day or two for having lice and there is no way one treatment effiecently deals with this matter. I wasn't sure what an appropriate tip would be, I inquired at the front desk during check out w/ the cashier and was suggested a $20-$25 tip "for this area" - almost two whole more hair cuts!! It took me by surprise, between my two children only two inches were cut and the bill was already $50- not including the cost of shampoos, etc. purchased. Value for money left a lot to be desired, though I recognize we pay more for the experience and I'd pay the money for a person qualified and experienced in cutting children's hair as well as providing them w/ a fun environment. Still though, $50 later for two inches of hair cut is steep. I would recommend to family and friends.

I am so glad I found Cookie Cutters! After our salon jacked up prices for kid's haircuts, we had been struggling to find a place that both our son and ourselves liked, but after coming into Cookie Cutters, we will def be making this our go-to hair cutting place. The salon itself was clean (it is fairly new, so I am hoping the cleanliness keeps up!)and the staff were very pleasant. They took their time and even when my son wouldn't sit still, they were patient and did a great job on his hair.

We had a great experience start to finish. My son is 7 months old and wiggly, but the hair stylist still managed to give him a perfect haircut. We even had someone else helping to keep him distracted. Professional, clean, and knowledgable. I walked in with no clue what style to do and they helped me decide and gave me styling tips for when I got home. The “baby’s first haircut certificate” was such a great touch. I love it and sent it around to my family and in-laws who got a big kick out of it. Pricing was on par with what you would pay anywhere else. To me, I can’t imagine going anywhere else for a kids cut. Having the cute cars to sit in, kid shows to distract as well as other toys, and of course, an awesome slide for them to play on while they wait. You can’t get that at a regular salon. Would highly recommend coming here.
