At Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids children get to enjoy more than the typical salon booster seat. They get to choose their favorite fantasy car to sit in during their haircut and each station has a wide selection of kids’ shows and games. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.


We strive to provide a caring environment where we put both the child and the parent at ease.  Our stylists are skilled in cutting hair for all children, and provide that extra special touch for those with special needs. Not all children like to get their haircut, we are aware of this struggle and do all we can to make the experience one that they will want to have again.

I think the charge for a child’s cut is a little high, but you guys did a fantastic job! It’s so nice that you offer “incentives” for after the haircut (lollipop and balloon). Thank you!

Ely cut my grandson's hair and did a wonderful job. I had taken him to four different places in NJ and nobody got his hair right. He has a double cowlick and you have to know what you're doing to get it right. She nailed it

Ely does a fantastic job at cutting children's hair. She is so personable and great with the kids. My three year old enjoys going to the salon, and Ely always makes it a great experience for her.

My experience was great. It's hard getting children to cooperate for a haircut. My 3 year old was a nightmare, and the stylist was patient and kind. Thank you.

Would be nice if the stylists actually put notes in my son's account like they told me 3 times they would do. Had to go to someone new again b/c the previous person left. I don't remember how to tell one stylist to another what the last one did 2 months ago. I was not "in love" with the cut this last time by any means the stylist was more interested in doing what she wanted to do rather then what I had asked for. I was very happy my first 3 visits, was not thrilled this last visit. The other girl (guessing a front desk person - was clueless as to what was going on or even how to check us out) I believe in 2nd chances - so we will give it one more try. I won't be telling my friends about this place, not yet. As Friday's experience was disappointing to say the least. Stylist is not a "kid friendly" person at all not sure why she I working with kids.
