Had a pretty bad experience with Carly today. She did not listen to what I said. I told her we don't style his hair and she said we "need to for short hair." I said we just leave it laying down. She proceeded to cut his hair while it is swooped to the side. He sat very still and listed to her as she cut. She asked my thoughts and I straightened his hair to how it normally rests (with her trying to swoop it back immediately) and requested she straightened his bangs because they were severely uneven. She only used texture scissors to do this. I also asked her to cut a jagged piece to the side and she argued with me before cutting it. I got tired of asking her to just straighten it all out and left it. It is still uneven and now with using the texturing scissors to "even it" instead of real scissors, there is a weird spacing at the bottom of his bangs then a harsh line where it gets more dense. It is absolutely terrible. I explained we do not use product because he has sensitive skin and she proceeded to immediately ask if I want gel. I felt as though she didn't listen to a single thing I said and instead was very arrogant about how it should be. This is our 4th time here and never had any issue with them cutting his hair straight as requested. I cannot express how upset I am due to not having time to grow it out before his birthday in 3 weeks but I will do my best to straighten it out before his party.

We went in for a walk in midday and with no other kids, 2 stylist and a front desk attendant were turned away. Against our better judgement, we setup an appt 2 days later. We went in for a 30 second haircut with scissors that barely looks like he got a haircut. We will not be coming back and would rather do it ourselves than the experience. We will not be recommending anyone.

We were charged for a missed appointment even though the circumstances were that my child was very very sick, and we were in a crisis. At the appointment after he was better the woman was extremely rude, berating my nanny about how we should have known better to cancel.., I’m sorry ma’am but my son had a very high fever and was in the emergency room. We had been loyal customers for two years but now will Never come back.

We've previously received quality haircuts for our son here. However the past couple of cuts have been disappointing. Today's cut was more of the same disappointment. We were clear that we just wanted the sides and back cleaned up however she took a lot off the top- ignoring the image we showed her as an example. I think perhaps my 7 year old has now outgrown the kind of cuts offered here.

Haircut done was not as requested. We provided a picture at the beginning as example. End result was not same style as the picture - no tapering was done, sides were cut uneven.

This is our families second time coming here and unfortunately this experience was nothing like our first. Our stylist Carly seemed annoyed at our request and barely said 5 words to us. Our previous stylist Ely was extremely personable, interacted with our baby, styled her hair, and promptly gave our daughter a balloon and lollipop. I had to ask for a rubber band from the receptionist to be able to style my daughters hair afterwards. Maybe styling isn’t part of the service but Ely did it for us the first time we went in so we were expecting the same for this visit. We really like the salon and liked our previous stylist Ely but will not be booking again with Carly in the future.
