We were very displeased with the way our son was treated and the lack of specialty provided in this experience. The only element that appeared "kid-friendly" or specialized for kids was the set up of the environment. Otherwise, our son was forced to hold still while his hair was cut and not given any praise or reward or breaks. We could have forced him and used the same tactics for a lot less money. We were very unimpressed and will not be returning to Cookie Cutters.

The stylist, Tricia, is AMAZING. She is literally the only reason we bring our son for his haircuts. The "cookie cutter" space and experience is horrible otherwise. From a management perspecitive, they are NEVER on time. For having such a strict late policy it is so frustrating to wait over 30 minutes from your scheduled appointment time. We had an appointment and when we arrived they were finishing up a haircut. I assumed we'd be next and only ~5-10 minutes off our scheduled appointment time, but there was another cut ahead of us. That meant we were seen over 30 minutes after our appointment. It was even more frustrating because when we checked in, no one managed our expectations to let us know that they were running behind. The space is always messy/dirty and covered in hair. If we didn't find a stylist that was so talented and good with kids we would never come to Cookie Cutters.

Place needs to be clean. The chair was covered in chair. Floor had hair. Please do a through clean after each cut. Wish there were more suggestions from the stylist. Invest more in the facility. You may get more business.

We requested Megan and we’re never informed she was not there. The person we had didn’t even tell us her name. She hardly talked to my daughter the entire time. She seemed spaced out. I had to provide the encouragement and my child was well behaved. I can only imagine if she did not tolerate it well. While the cut itself wasn’t bad, the experience was terrible. I will not go back. I will just take her to the salon with me.

Environment today was very chaotic. Children who were waiting were running beyond the sign and into the hair cut area. Kids were hitting one another while another child gathered all the balloons from the balloon tree and carried them all over the store. We were waited on 20 minutes after our scheduled time, 30 minutes after arriving at cookie cutters. The stylist seemed confused, almost annoyed, that all my 3yo needed was a bang trim.

I’ve been at this location multiple times but today was by far the worst experience we’ve had so far. Upon arriving, we walked in to the gentleman at the front desk telling 2 other customers that their stylist didn’t show and they wouldn’t be able to get a cut until 1:45. This was at 9:15 this morning. No courtesy calls were made to these customers. I signed in and let the gentleman know who we were. At one point, myself and son were the only customers waiting. After 15 minutes of waiting, more customers came in and proceeded to get ahead of us after we made an appointment. So I went up to the desk and asked if he even checked us in and he had t. He apologized and gave us a discount but I’m writing this survey so the owner of the salon is aware of what happened today. Sorry but this gentleman has no business being the first line of customer service for your clients.
