Misty was Lainey's stylist and she seemed burnt out. She sat Lainey down on a chair covered in hair from the previous clients and barely spoke to us. She hadn't even bothered to sweep any hair. She cut her hair in under 5 minutes and the cut was just ok. She did not offer my daughter a braid or clip and thats the whole reason we go to Cookie Cutters. Once Misty was finished with my daughter she was heard complaing loudly about random things. She has an overall unpleasant attitude for working with children. I have seen her behave this way over the past 18 months that my kids have been recieving haircuts here. Luckily, Sam, the stylist that was doing my younger daughters hair, also gave Lainey a clip and braid when she was finished with Winnie. Sam is amazing and next time I want both my daughters to see her.

Stylist seemed stressed about cutting the hair of a toddler. Every time he moved his head, she'd grunt ("ugh") in frustration, despite the fact that we explained he did not like scissors by his ears. There were several times we feared she may cut him accidentally, and asked her to stop cutting a particular area. We asked for a trim and haircut was significantly shorter than requested, as well as crooked in the front (bangs). There are areas I'll have to cut myself to clean up the cut, which is disappointing since we choose to bring him to Cookie Cutters to pay for a safer haircut from a trained stylist. The person at the desk also refused to check us out because she had "already clocked out" but continued to remain behind the desk in the work area. Overall a very disappointing visit.

I called at around 1:45 to see if there are any appointments for today and they told me there is either a 2 or 2:45 I took the 2:45 appointment. I arrived at 2:30, a whole 15 minutes early. There was a man in front of me signing in and an employee asked him if he took an appointment and he said no. After I signed in a mom came in the store with her son and signed in. At 2:46 they called on the man and his son. I was shocked that he has priority although I am the one with the appointment and it was MY appointment time and I arrived 15 minutes early! Furthermore, my son needed to use the restroom and someone was inside. We waited for like 10 minutes, everyone saw us waiting. Even one of the employees talked to me and told me that she saw someone go in, so I just needed to wait. My son went into the restroom for literally 3 minutes and when I got out I was shocked to discover that the mom that came AFTER me is having their turn! Only when I waited in line to discuss this issue did they finally call on us....at 3:10! I am extremely upset and disappointment in this company.I felt as if I was being avoided, and that is not how a customer should feel. I am not sure if it is because they couldn't read or pronounce my son's name so they were avoiding my turn, but I hope not because that is straight up discrimination. If you can't respect the fact that I made sure I called to take an appointment then I shouldn't respect you as a company. If you will always choose the customer on first come first serve basis then you shouldn't have an appointment system in the first place and in both cases I should have gone first. So choose your system and RESPECT it.

LOng wait times even with appointments, and the floors and furniture was very unclean . The chairs where kids sit for their haircuts are very unclean.

I’m really not happy with how my sons hair cut is. The front is so uneven. I’m just glad his hair grows back rather quickly and I now know to not let todays stylist do his hair in the future. Sad because I have had him coming here since his first hair cut. We have always had a good job done, but not today. Having father day photo shoot tomorrow and we are kinda bummed out about it now. :/

Went in 20 minutes early, still waited 15 min after appt time because one stylist decided to help someone else that came in 15 minutes after us with a later appt! I was livid.
