The stylist nicked the back of my sons neck with the clippers and failed to even say anything. See attached photo. I understand kids move and accidents happen but to ignore and not even say anything is inexcusable.

Our experience is usually great, but it seemed like our lady was in a mood or very tired. She didn't make my boy feel safe and ignored his questions of "What's that?" Finally after the fourth time of him asking, she said "Stuff for your hair." Quite impatient as well. He's only 2- almost 3 and she said "Look down look down, look down." He was looking with his eyes and didn't understand she meant with his head. I didn't want to fluster her so I just kept quiet. She didn't do a hard part like I wanted, but at least he didn't look like a shaggy pup anymore. I tipped 50% but my son's experience could've been better. He hates getting his hair cut, so just letting him know what you're doing when he asks does help a lot. No one likes unexpected things happening to them. Be mindful.

We arrived approximately 8 minutes late to our scheduled appointment and learned there is a 5 minute wait policy. 5 minutes is absolutely ridiculous, it needs to be 10 minutes especially for children….they fit us in and we did not mind waiting but 5 minutes for a wait policy is not realistic especially for children. This definitely deterred me from scheduling another appointment. The front desk worker was not friendly either. As far as the hairdressers they were great and did a wonderful job.

I said I wanted the top as long as possible and then clippers on the side. She kind of acted annoyed at my lack of ability to say too much more than a four on the sides. He came in with naturally laid hair. My husband said she swept his hair to the side and then cut it while styled…he has super fine hair that he plays with (we told her that) It didn’t come in sidenstyled so I’m not sure why you would cut it like that. So I highlighted the edge of his bangs after zooming in, so you can see what it looks like straight. It looked like that by the time we pulled out of the parking lot. Getting his haircut is a traumatizing experience for him so it’s hard when you do everything to make sure it’s a success, like holding his head the whole time while he’s upset it to look like that. We are on income and 60 bucks after tip is hard. I can’t afford to get it fixed and he has extra needs. Honestly the last thing he needs is to look messed up. He already gets treated poorly sometimes. She was on her phone when we came up, and was in her phone immediately after. My other son did the first haircut and we didn’t get the picture with it. It was just a poor experience over all.

The stylist was great with both my kids. However, there were older kids (probably ten or eleven) running around and jumping on the slide while little kids were trying to play. It would have been nice if the receptionist would have said something to the older kids since the parents were obviously not willing to correct their kids. One toddler was almost knocked over by one of the kids jumping off the ramp to get to the slide.
