Haircut was all crooked. I had to fix it myself given that I didn’t have time to go back and get it fixed. I had an appointment and I still had to wait. The stylists were polite but clearly understaffed.

Our appointment was scheduled at 1030am on 1/6/2018. It was my sons first haircut and I read online abt the "First Haircut Experience" before making my appointment. We arrived at 1015 am and signed in. The young, blond girl at the desk was rude, short with us and not friendly at all. The brunette woman who actually cut my sons hair was pleasant and kind and was done in abt 5 minutes with his cut. She did a good job with him and with his cut. During the check out the young, blond woman continued to be rude and short with us on our way out. The "First Haircut Experience" was not an "experience" at all. You should at least provide a little 8x10 "certificate" with their first haircut as a keepsake, especially for the fact that after my tip I paid $20 for a 5 minute "experience" that overall, I wasn't that impressed with. I would not recommend Cookie Cutters nor will I be back. I will take my son to my Stylist at Salon Lofts where I get fantastic treatment and she did well with my other sons first haircut.

The service was fantastic, especially being that my 2 year old cried/screamed the entire time! (At no fault to the stylist) He was also whipping himself around like crazy, so good thing the seats have buckles. Even with all that she did a fantastic job on his cut! The only reason I gave a 8 on how I was treated during the visit, was for greeting. We hung out for a good almost 5 min before someone even acknowledge us. Even though they were not working with a client just cleaning up. Though this will not keep me from coming back. I just felt they could have at least said "Welcome we will be right with you" but instead I felt ignored.

I had scheduled appointments for 3:30 and on for my four children. I arrived directly behind a woman with three children, who did not have an appointment but was obviously a returning customer. She requested a specific hair stylist and was told it might be 10-15 minutes before she could get in. The woman proceeded to say that probably wouldn’t work for her. I signed in stating my appointment times and had a seat. The woman was called before me and her children received hair cuts while we waited 20 minutes for our first child to get a haircut. When I asked the receptionist why it was taking so long she said they had written my appointment time wrong and that it was actually 3:45. No one ever told me 3:45. She did not offer an apology, just sort of shrugged. I suggested that perhaps someone could have let me know when I arrived that they had me scheduled for 3:45 and she said, “oh.” Poor service. The ladies that cut my children’s hair did a nice job, but the scheduling and reception area was very disappointing.
