Service is always great, stylists are very patient with the kids and friendly. New renovations look great.. I wish they would take some time throughout the day to sweep up the hair in the store though. My child went down the slide once before his appointment and was covered in hair. I looked and there was hair all over the play area and also wods of hair on the rugs. Just not appealing and gives a bad impression of cleanliness for the store.

The older blonde receptionist was not friendly AT all. She was short with my husband when we came in 8 minutes late and he had apologized, she just came out and said Yeah your late. They weren't even ready for us anyway. Then when I went to check out we had a credit from the manager from our last visit when our child saw the clippers for the first time he freaked out she clipped him like 2x and said its fine it happens all the time its no big deal. Just reschedule. So I told her that and she just rolled her eyes at me staring at the computer so maybe I had misunderstood something I'm not sure. I'm not sure what her issue is but she is definitely in the wrong place with that type of behavior and attitude to customers. Maybe it was the inconvenience of speaking to me or maybe because my husband owns his own shop and he was in his work clothing, maybe it was me. Just don't appreciate that kind of huffing and puffing with eye rolling from what is already expensive visits to begin with.

My daughter’s hair stylist, Juana, is amazing. This is the 2nd time we’ve been to see her and will continue to come to Cookie Cutters as long as Juana is working. She is sweet, gentle and helpful. That being said, both times we’ve visited, the receptionist (different people both times) have been completely nasty to us. Definitely in the wrong profession. The blonde young lady at the reception area yesterday was so rude, I almost said something but didn’t want to make an issue of it. You can tell they probably make minimum wage because it is clear the receptionists do not care about their job or customer service.

The wait time past your scheduled appointment is a turn off. The decor is cute and the kids enjoy picking a show to watch while their get their cut. Price is on the higher end for a simple kids cut. Overall good experience and would return for the appointment time flexibility/evening slot.

Hope was great she was very nice and did a great job but Misty had come over and started talking about another client negatively and complaining to to Hope while I was trying to talk to her about my child's hair. I get that you're going to talk about clients but please do it in the back and not when I'm trying to help the stylist cut my 2 year-olds hair. Also I was skipped twice in line while waiting (there was a small girl doing appointments and my card was misplaced, she felt so bad and was very sweet) however the front desk girl gave me $5 off which I rolled back into a tip for hope. Overall any issues were resolve and the cut was great but this is the third time I've had a bad experience with misty either by cutting my child's hair or her just being around.
