During the cut, my son has complained about feelings pain on his neck. The haircut professional dismissed the pain for it just "feel weird". When I inspect the area, I noticed 2 little cuts, (from clippers) on his neck. I understand things happen, just didn't expect her to lie. She ACCIDENTALLY got to close, it happens. Just own it and apologize to them next time.

I took my very fidgety ticklish 5 year for a haircut from Shannon and she did such an awesome job. She was silly and kind and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes. My son was apprehensive about coming to get a haircut in the beginning but by the time we left he said he wanted to come back for his next haircut. It was overall a great experience.

My son’s dad brought him in for a haircut yesterday and they did not have a pleasant experience. My son had his first cut here with Shannon and she was lovely. This time, they booked with Crystal. She was not very nice and proceeded to tell my sons dad how he should cut my sons curly hair short so people don’t think he looks like a girl. She wasn’t patient with my son, and seemed aggravated that he was moving too much which I think is kind of rude considering how she works with kids all day and this is only his second time getting a haircut. I understand giving recommendations of course about how hair should be cut as that’s your guys job, but as parents you guys should also listen to our words and not try to make a us feel a certain way because we want our kids hair done a certain way. Thank you for your time, but next time we will stick with Shannon!

We requested Shannon cut his hair this time based on a great experience at our last haircut, where we just happened to get her. She was very thorough and Arlen left with a great cut. As an aside, I had had an *exceedingly* bad experience the haircut before our first experience with Shannon and was almost going to look for another barber to cut his hair. I'm glad I gave Cookie Cutters another chance, because we will keep coming back as long as Shannon is available to cut his hair!

I’ve been bringing my son who hates haircuts here for 9 years. He had his very first haircut with Ms.Shannon and she was fabulous. All of the staff have always been wonderful to my son. The last handful of visits, he got Crystal for his haircut and she was subpar to say the LEAST. She knicked my son’s ear making him bleed and made him feel like it was his fault. I asked for a “tapered fade” and she shaved his head bald. Today, I showed her a picture of a BASIC haircut- making sure to tell her that we’re not picky- but that we went too short last time and to please not go so short this time. She scoffed at me and said “well I don’t know what you want from me then” while my son was attempting to get into the chair, she laughed at him and said “that’s not a footstool”. After finally getting him into the chair she says “can we just do a buzzcut on him?” At that point, enough was enough and I proceeded to leave. Ms.Michelle stopped us and accommodated us with another stylist- Ms.Sarah ( she was lovely and able to fulfill the very simple request made!) Unfortunately after 9 straight years of business from me, I will no longer be supporting Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids. I truly wish that no other child would have to put up with the unprofessionalism of Crystal.
