I took my son for a haircut at Cookie Cutters in Lehi, which I've done dozens of times. This time was much different. The stylist looked very unfriendly and unhappy. She literally didn't smile once. I asked that my son be given a number 1 and then 2 inches off the top. The number one is splotchy with longer patches in some places. She took 2 inches off, except for the front. There is one awkward piece that looks just as long as when I brought him in. I've never been so unhappy with a cut. I knew it wasn't great when I was there, but couldn't believe just how bad it was until I got home. Perhaps this stylist is new, as I've never had this kind of a problem in the past with Cookie Cutters.

Way overbooked. Both children's appts booked for 3:15. Arrived at 3:10. Nicolas was taken back at 3:40, many people who arrived after us were taken back before Sebastian who also had an appointment at 3:15. Finally went up to talk to the front desk, and the person working there said that because they were behind, they were going to have the same person do both Nicolas and Sebastian and said there was nothing else he could do. Nicolas is autistic and has a very hard time waiting which is why both kids were booked at the same time. Because of this, there was much more unnecessary wait time and it was a very painful experience. WILL NOT RETURN.

The person who cut my child's hair spoke so softly I could barely hear her. Because of that we had a major misscomunication. She asked how much I wanted off on the sides. The last time we had come in, the woman who cut my sons hair told me she used the one inch. Being a person who is inexperienced with cutting hair, I didn't realize there were two one inch options on the clippers. To leave an inch on or to cut one off. So she cut way to much off of my sons head. When I realized the mistake it was too late. When I commented on it she tried to blend the layers so she wouldn't have to cut more off and she didn't do a very good job. The back is all uneven. If I wanted it to look like that I would have cut it myself. I realize I am partly to blame in this, but I also feel like if she had spoken louder or asked more questions to a client who doesn't really know what to ask, this could have been avoided. I hate the cut. I didn't want to pay for it at all. I feel like a discount at least should be offered when mistakes like this happen. I know hair grows back, but my son is going to look like a cancer patient until it does and he holds really still.

My 10 month old son needed a haircut and I’m highly disappointed. He has a harsh line in the back of his head and the trimming stoking his ears are RIDICULOUSLY UNEVEN AND WAYYYY TOO HIGH UP. I’m highly disappointed.

I brought my three kids to get haircuts. One of them had their haircut turn out how we asked. One was left too long, the other too short. My son who had his hair cut too short was so upset. The lady who cut his hair did not listen to our instructions to cut one inch off. Instead, she cut 3. She avoided us the rest of the time we were in the salon. For the amount we paid, I would hope for a much better experience.

We made an appointment in advance and when I did the girl couldn't find my son's file from him being there before. So then we didn't have the notes to what the girl did last time to know what I wanted done this time. Once we arrived for our appointment it was a mad house! It was completely slam packed with kids running everywhere! And then we had to wait almost 20 minutes after our appointment time to get back. Then the girl that cut his hair just kept staring at me like I was stupid. Which I was because I had no clue how to tell her to cut his hair. I don't know the hair terminology and you guys couldn't find our previous record. And then she just kept cutting and cutting and cutting. It's too short now and we have family pictures next week and he has awful hair! Plus some other hair stylist took back a kid after us and was finished before us. And he got the hair cut I wanted! So 45 minutes later, we were late for our next appointment and we have an awful haircut.
